Abstract

Civic education learning is very important in shaping the character of learners. This research aims to find out how civic education learning towards student character building, especially to form good and responsible citizens. The benefits of this research provide knowledge to Learners of the importance of implementing civic education learning in schools in character building. The research method used in research on civic education learning on the character building of students is to collect and analyze various literature related to civic education learning, in related books, journals, and articles. In the data analysis process, this research uses analysis using the (systematic literature review) method used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret research. The results of this study indicate that Citizenship Education has an important role in shaping the character of students for the nation and state in order to become a better person. Civic Education in its teaching has a great impact on the development of student character. Citizenship Education must continue to exist in order to create and grow young generations with character in the life of the nation and state for the progress of the nation and future generations.
